Pumpkin Drop Cookies

  • 1/2 cup butter-flavored shortening
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 15 oz solid-pack pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 6 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground all spice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves



Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Beat in pumpkin, eggs and milk. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, all spice and cloves; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Drop by tbsp 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-13 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
