Mr. Dell's Cheesy Potatoes
Once you try these Cheesy Potatoes, I guarantee it won't be the last... yup they are that good! Trust me, file this one under favorites. It'll be requested so much, you'll soon know this recipe by heart. Enjoy!
- 10 cups shredded hash browns
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 12 ounces sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
Melt 1/4 cup butter and pour into 9 x 13 baking dish. Add five cups hash browns (no need to thaw).
In separate bowl, mix soup, sour cream, milk and green onions, then pour 1/2 of this mixture over hash browns. Salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle one cup grated cheese on top. Add remainder of hash browns and cheese on top, then cover with crushed corn flakes. Drizzle two tablespoons melted butter and bake for 55 minutes.
