  • Crumb Topping:
  • 3.5- 5 C. blueberries (if frozen, thaw, rinse, drain and dry
  • 1 Tbs. lemon juice
  • 1 pie deep dish pie crust ( homemade or refrigerated pre-made)
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 1/4 C. white and brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/4 C. butter
  • sprinkle of cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle blueberries with lemon juice; set aside. In large bowl mix, flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Toss with blueberries. Pour into pie crust. Cut 2 Tbs. of butter into small pieces and dopple over fruit. In a medium bowl, mix together both sugars, , flour, and sprinkle of cinnamon. Cut up remaining butter into small pieces and with 2 forks or pastry blender, mix until it resembles small crumbs/chunks. Sprinkle over pie. Bake at 400 for 35 mins or until brown
