Creamy scalloped potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs of potatoes
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of Daisy Sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups of asiago cheese, shedded
  • 1/8 teaspoon of paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Butter 2 qt baking dish
Slice potatoes 1/8 inch thick circles
put in saucepan and boil cook until tender
cool slightly.
heat oven at 350

melt butter,add onion cook for 1 min.
stir in flour and salt until the mixture bubbles.

gradually stir in the milk and cook until mixture boils.
reduce heat to low stir in sour cream and cheese. cook on low until cheese melts stirring constantly.
layer half of potatoes in baking dish
pour half the sauce over potatoes, then repeat.
sprinkle paprika
Bake 30 to 35 mintues or until bubbly and the top starts to brown.
