Crispy Haddock Fillets

  • 1 1/2 lbs. fresh haddock or other skinless fillets
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 3/4 c crushed cornflakes (3 c cereal)
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine, melted

Step 1

Wipe fillets with a damp cloth; cut into serving size pieces. In a small bowl combine milk, salt, and pepper. Dip fish into milk mixture; then roll in crushed flakes.
Place in a single layer on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over tops.
Bake, without turning, in a 450 degree oven for 15 minutes or till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
