Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 organic large eggs
  • 1/3 c. almond milk
  • 1/3 c. amber organic maple syrup
  • 1 T. black strap molasses
  • 1 T. pumpkin pie seasoning or cinnamon, allspice, ginger and ground cloves
  • 2/3 c. organic sugar
  • 1/3 c. organic brown sugar
  • 2 cans of organic pumpkin (14 oz each)
  • 1 small organic sugar pumpkin, cut in half, seeds removed and cooked in the microwave for 15 minutes.

Preparation

Step 1

1.Pre heat oven to 450 degrees.
2.Take one pre-made crust and place in pie plate. Put pie beads in the bottom of the plate or poke dough with fork to prevent shrinkage. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
3.Put all ingredients in food processor or blender and mix.
4.Pour into pre made pie crust.
5.Bake for 20 minutes at 450 degrees. Lower to 350 degrees, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 or until firm.
