Cottage Pie from Rose & Crown - EPCOT

Heat 1/4 cup butter in a 9-inch skillet
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground savory
- 1 cup brown gravy
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- Additional butter
Maple-Walnut Pie Bars

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark pan)
- 1 roll (18 oz) refrigerated sugar cookies
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/3 cups maple-flavored syrup
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- Powdered sugar, if desired

Melt butter in large pot. Add diced onions and saute over medium heat until translucent and caramelized
- 1 1/2 pounds yellow onions, diced
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried (or 2 fresh sprigs) thyme
- 2 tablespoons dried (or 2 fresh sprigs) parsley
- 2 dried bay leaves
- 2 1/2 quarts chicken broth
- 9 ounces Gruyere cheese, grated
- 1 French bread loaf
Lemon & Rose Madeleines

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus 6 tablespoons, unmelted
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1 cup sifted cake flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup sugar plus 1 tablespoon
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons rose water
- Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Lime Ice Cream

Combine all of the ingredients, stirring until the sugar is dissolved
- 3/4 cups white sugar
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons grated lime zest
- 1/3 cup lime juice (Key lime juice is great)
Pumpkin Linguine

This pumpkin linguine is perfectly paired with creamy Alfredo sauce with a bit of toasted sage
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- Salt
- Additional flour for rolling
Grapefruit Honey Yogurt Scones

Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a medium bowl
- 1 1/2 C all-purpose flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 ruby red grapefruit
- 1/4 C sugar
- 6 T unsalted butter, cold
- 2 T honey
- 1/2 C plain Greek yogurt (Chobani, of course!)

- FOR BROWNIE CRUST:
- 6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1-1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract (I Used Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla)
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 Tablespoons Flour
- 1/3 cups Unsweetened Cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Peanut Butter Chips
- 6 whole Peanut Butter Cups, Cut Into Quarters

- 5 whole Eggs, Room Temperature
- 1-1/2 cup Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
- 1 cup Smooth Peanut Butter

- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract (I Used Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla)
- FOR DECORATION:
- 1/2 cups Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Peanut Butter Chips

- Sweet Cream Base:
- 1/3 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy or whipping cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup half and half
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 cup heavy or whipping cream
- 1 cup milk

Heat olive oil in medium skillet and saute scallions and crushed red pepper for 2 minutes
- Orange Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red peppers
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Beef:
- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Rice for serving
