Easy - Stove Top Sour Milk Blueberry Cake

This is a great recipe for the warm weather
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup milk – plus 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup blueberries
- Zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
Bauli Panettone French Toast

In a shallow dish, beat milk, eggs, and vanilla
- 1 - 17.6 oz. Bauli Panettone
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Butter for greasing the griddle
- Syrup or Honey
- Confectioner's Sugar or Cinnamon Sugar for dusting
Grilled Jalepeno Salsa

This is wonderful on a good piece of bread or with your favorite sandwich
- 2 large jalapeño’s – grilled
- 1 large onion – sliced and grilled
- 4 cloves of garlic – grilled
- Dash of salt to taste
- Olive oil
- Tablespoon of honey
- Tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
Strawberries & Cream with Rosemary Shortcakes

In a large bowl, toss together strawberries, sugar and orange zest
- Shortcakes:
- 2 cups strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Whipped Cream:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
No Crust - Bacon, Cheese and Broccoli Quiche

- 1 cup of fresh broccoli – blanched and chopped
- 1/2 onion – chopped
- 1/4 lb. of bacon – chopped
- 4 eggs
- 1 pat of butter
- 1 1/2 cups of butter milk
- 4 oz. of shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- Parmesan cheese – grated
- Dash of nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Dashes of black pepper
Easy Fresh Tomato Sauce with Macaroni

Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil
- 1/2 jalapeño – diced with seeds
- 1/2 onion – diced
- 3 – 4 vine ripe tomatoes – diced
- 3 cloves garlic – chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh Italian parsley
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tbs. butter
- 2 tbs. olive oil
- Fresh grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- 1 lb. of your favorite macaroni
Roasted Pepper with Beans and Macaroni

Preheat Oven 350 degrees Place the peppers and onion on a baking sheet whole and bake until wilted
- 4 bell peppers – any color
- 1 large onion
- 2 vine ripe tomatoes – diced in chunky pieces
- 29 oz. can of cannellini beans – drained
- 1 tbs. capers plus a tablespoon or two of caper juice
- 4 cloves of garlic – chopped
- 7-8 fresh basil leaves – ripped
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 3-4 tbs. olive oil
- 1 lb. of your favorite macaroni
- Fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese for grating
Strawberry Jam Salad Dressing

In a food processor combine all of the above ingredients and give a few good chops
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons honey
Chunky Oatmeal Cookies

Preheat Oven 350 degrees: Combine butter and sugars in a food processor and process until creamy
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups oats
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 5 tbs. butter
Egg & Potato Frittata

Preheat the Oven 350 Heat a large cast iron frying pan with the olive oil
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 onion – diced
- 2 cloves garlic – chopped
- 5 cooked potatoes – diced
- 1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley – chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 3 tbs. olive oil
