Butter Pecan Cookies

Preheat oven to 350'. On a baking sheet, toast pecans until fragrant, about 6 minutes
- 3 c chopped pecans
- 2 c butter, softened
- 1 1/3 c sugar
- 4 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 c flour
