- 1 sheet( 1/2 of a17.3 oz package) frozen puff pastry dough, thawed
- 2 Granny smith Apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
Slow Cooker Apple Cider Braised Pork Roast

1.Season Pork with kosher salt and pepper
- 4 pounds boneless pork shoulder roast
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 1 large onion,diced
- 2 ribs celery, diced
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 4 cups apple cider
- 8 cloves garlic,chopped
- 2 Bay leaves
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp cold butter, cut into small pieces
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley
- 4-5 sprigs of thyme
Slow Cooker Braised Short Ribs

1. Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper
- 4 1/2 pounds 3 inch long beef short ribs
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 cups dry red wine
- 1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes in juice
- 1 8oz package sliced button mushrooms
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 6-8 cloves of garlic peeled

- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- Pinch of table salt
- 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp instant coffee granules
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup finely minced chopped onion

- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 4 slices bacon-cooked until crisp and then crumbled
