DUTCH APPLE PIE

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 1 graham cracker crust
- 1 large egg yolk
- 5 1/2 C sliced cooking apples
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/4 C light brown sugar
- 3 T flour
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t nutmeg
- 3/4 C flour
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1/3 C butter
- *omit lemon juice if apples are very tart.
FRENCH DRESSING

Mix together and chill
- 1/4 C ketchup
- 3 T white wine vinegar
- 1 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pressed garlic clove
- 2 T sugar
- 3/4 C vegetable oil
CARAMEL LAYER CHOCO-SQUARES

In heavy saucepan (or double boiler), combine caramels and 1/3 C evaporated milk
- 50 About 50 (14 oz package) light caramels
- 1/3 C evaporated milk
- 1 package German Chocolate Cake Mix
- 3/4 C butter, melted
- 1/3 C evaporated milk
- 1 C chopped nuts, optional
- 1 C semi-sweet chocolate pieces
CRAB CAKES REMOULADE

Mix remoulade ingredients in small bowl; cover and refrigerate
- Remoulade sauce: 1 C mayonnaise
- 1/4 C catchup
- 1/4 C minced parsley leaves
- 1 T prepared white horseradish
- 2 t white vinegar
- 1 t grated lemon peel
- 1 t hot pepper sauce
- 1 16-oz container lump crabmeat
- 1/2 small onion
- 1 large celery stalk
- 1/2 small red pepper
- butter
- 1 T flour
- 1 t dry mustard
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 C milk
- 1/2 C dried bread crumbs
- 1 T lemon juice
- parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
CHEESE BREAD

Mix three ingredients together
- 1/3 C melted butter
- 1/3 C parmesan cheese
- !/3 C italian dressing
- 1 loaf of french bread
SUMI COLESLAW

Mix together shredded cabbage, scallions, celery, almonds and sesame seeds
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 6 to 8 scallions, chopped
- 1/2 C celery, diced
- 1/4 C almonds, chopped
- 1/4 C sesame seeds
- 2 packages Ramen Noodles
- 1/2 t salt
- 4 T sugar
- 2 T vinegar
- 1/2 C oil
- 2 t Accent
- 1 t pepper
FLANK STEAK

1. Combine the marinade ingredients in a nonreactive bowl
- Marinade:
- 2/3 C dry red wine
- 2/3 C soy sauce
- 6 large cloves of garlic, peeled and smashed
- 1/3 C chopped parsley
- coarsely ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 flank steaks (about 1 1/2 pounds each)
VEGETABLE LASAGNA

Substitute 1/2 lb ground beef and 1/2 lb ground pork for the zucchini, spinach, and onions
- 9 sheets lasagna pasta
- 3 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1 3/4 C ricotta cheese
- 2 T parmesan cheese
- 4 C basic tomato sauce
- 1 medium zucchini, sliced
- 1/2 C onions, diced
- 1 T chopped chives or green onions
- 1 t olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 12 oz chopped spinach
BAKED ZITI

Cook pasta al dente. Drain and place in a mixing bowl
- 1 lb ziti
- 1 C ricotta cheese (12 oz)
- 1/4 C parmesan cheese
- 1 C mozzarella cheese
- Tomato sauce
WHITE CHOCOLATE PARTY MIX

Microwave white chocolate with 3 T oil
- 5 C Cherrios
- 5 C Corn Chex
- 2 C peanuts
- 2 lb m & m's
- 10 oz mini pretzels
- 2 bags white chocolate chips
- 3 T vegetable oil
