Frosted Tropical Coconut Bursts

1 Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms
- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® sugar cookie mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 cup dried tropical three-fruit mix
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
Apple Crisp Pizza

Roll pastry to fit a 12 inch pizza pan; fold under or flute the edges
- TOPPING:
- Pastry for single-crust pie ( 9 inches )
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 3 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 4 medium Red Delicious Apples, peeled and diced into 1/4 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/3 cup packed Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Caramel topping

To make coating for cookie dough: Mash zest and sugar together with a fork to create lemon sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- zest of 2 lemons
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar firmly packed
- 3 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- . . COATING ON COOKIE DOUGH .
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- zest of 3 lemons
Olive Garden Copycat Dressing

I’ve made quite a few “copycat” recipes, most of those not quite up to snuff
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian spices
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 9 tablespoons water (that’s 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon)
- 2 envelopes Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix (each envelope is .7 ounce)
Haupia Cake

Thoroughly mix the cornstarch and water then set aside
- 2 cans of coconut milk
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup of cornstarch
- 1/2 cup of water

Pineapple Orange Drink

Place half of the orange juice, pineapple and ice cubes in a blender; cover and process until smooth
- 6 cups orange juice
- 2 cans (8 ounces each) unsweetened crushed pineapple, undrained

Hawaiian Snowballs

- 1 cup salted, roasted macadamia nuts, finely chopped
- 2/3 cup finely chopped dried pineapple
- 1/4 recipe Basic Sugar-Cookie Dough
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar, for dusting

This crispy pasta salad recipe showcases the tartness of Granny Smith apples and the refreshing bite of cucumber
- 2 cups cooked mini wagon wheel pasta
- 1 cup Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
- 3/4 cup cucumber, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 1/4 cup golden raisins
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Fried Ravioli

Preheat vegetable oil in a large, heavy pot over medium-high heat
- 1 quart vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 Tablespoons dried oregano
- 2 Tablespoons dried basil
- 1 Tablespoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 12 store-bought ravioli (or 20 tortellini)
Maple Banana Bread

- 1 cup pure maple syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 2 3/4 cups of whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 cup mashed bananas (from about 3 medium bananas)
