Preheat oven to 400°F. In a bowl, sift the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, sugar and salt
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt (I used 1/2 tsp + it was ok)
- 1 medium egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup melted shortening
- 1 cup Wyman wild blueberries (drained from Wyman's a 15 oz can or use Wyman's frozen)
Chicken and Shrimp, Garlic

- 2 to 3 boneless chicken breast halves or tenders (about 1 lb)
- 1 lb large shrimp
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 medium cloves garlic, smashed and minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil, or 1 teaspoon dried leaf basil
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning or seasoned salt blend
Sweet & Tangy Chicken

Heat the butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/4 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) Campbell's Condensed Tomato Soup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 cup regular long-grain white rice, prepared according to directions
Steak Chili

In a large skillet, cook steak and onion in oil over medium heat until meat is no longer pink
- 1 pound beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cans (10 ozs ea) diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
- 1 can (15.5 oz) chili starter (such as Bush's Traditional Chili Starter)
- shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion and sour cream, optional

- 1/2 cup dry white wine

- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef, cooked, drained
- 1 1/2 cups Old El Paso Thick ‘n Chunky salsa
- 1 can (16.3 oz) Pillsbury Grands refrigerated biscuits
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Mexican cheese blend

Fruit Cobbler, Easy

- Crisco Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 1 cup Hungry Jack Buttermilk Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix (Just Add Water)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 (21 oz) can fruit pie filling of your choice, such as cherry, peach or blueberry
- ground cinnamon
- whipped cream or vanilla ice cream
