Heat a covered 6-quart pot of water to boiling on high

- 1 pound bowtie (farfalle) pasta
- 1 pound cremini mushrooms
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
- 2 large shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Marsala wine
Baked Apples

Preheat oven to 375°F. Wash apples
- 4 large good baking apples, such as Rome Beauty, Golden Delicious, or Jonagold
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup currants or chopped raisins
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3/4 cup boiling water
BLT Pie, Impossibly Easy

- 12 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz)
- 1/2 cup Original Bisquick mix

- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise *(see note)

- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 4 cups butternut squash pieces (about 1-inch pieces)
- 1/2 cup dry white wine or reduced-sodium, fat free chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage or 4 teaspoons dried sage
- 1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese, blue cheese or shredded Parmesan cheese
