Coconut Flour Waffle Recipe (can use as bread too)

Preheat waffle iron (I always use high), grease generously with coconut oil or ghee
- 4 tablespoons melted butter, ghee, or coconut oil
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 6 eggs
- 2-4 tablespoons pureed apple, pumpkin, banana, pear, or other mix in
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 tsp salt
Slow Cooker, Apple Cinnamon Steel-Cut Oatmeal

Coat inside of 3-1/2 quart (or larger) slow cooker with cooking spray
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (2-1/2 to 3 cups chopped)
- 1-1/2 cups fat-free milk (or substitute non-diary alternative like almond milk)
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked steel-cut oats
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or substitute maple syrup or other desired sweetener)
- 1-1/2 tablespoons butter, cut into 5-6 pieces (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional garnishes: chopped nuts, raisins, maple syrup, additional milk or butter

Toss eggs, applesauce and honey into a food processor and pulse until slightly mixed
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons applesauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 to 1/2 cups coconut flour
- 1/2 teaspoon unrefined sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- ghee or coconut oil (for frying pancakes)
- cinnamon (for sprinkling the pancakes)
Pumpkin and Parsnip Puree (6 months+)

- 1 parsnip
- 8 oz (1 cup) fresh pumpkin
- tiny pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp chopped fresh chives
Apple Butter Oatmeal Crumble

Makes 8 1/2 cup Warm Crumble Servings or 16 Chilled Bars Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats (I used Trader Joe's Gluten-Free Oats)
- 1 cup oat flour (I ground one cup of above-mentioned oats in the food processor until fine, like flour)
- 1/2 cup coconut palm sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3/4 cup soy-free Earth Balance spread or butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup apple butter

How to Freeze Avocados
