- 2 250 g packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
- 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
- 2 teaspoons dry onion flakes, crushed
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Sweet N Sour Left-over Beef

Lightly brown beef in oiled skillet, for 2 minutes
- 3 cups cooked roast beef, cut into thin strips
- 1 398 ml can pineapple chunks in juice, undrained
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 pouch onion soup mix
Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole

Combine chicken, 1 cup water, garlic and by leaf in large saucepan
- 1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups low fat milk
- 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1 10 oz package frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 8 ounces spinach fettucine
- 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
- 3/4 cup coarse fresh breadcrumbs from french bread
- 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
Herb and Buttermilk Barbecued Chicken

Whisk together marinade ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken parts, skinned
- 3/4 C buttermilk
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 2 T Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp each dried oregano, basil, thyme and rosemary
- 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper

Dissolve sugar in water then sprinkle with yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup lukewarm water
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 5 1/2 ounces can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Drain pineapple juice into saucepan, set pineapple aside
- 1 14 oz can pineapple tidbits
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup apricot jam
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Christmas Meatballs

Soak bread crumbs in milk
- Sauce:
- 3 lbs lean hamburger
- 4 slices bread, crumbled
- 1 1/2 C milk
- salt and pepper
- 3 beaten eggs
- sash thyme
- dash allspice
- dash garlic salt
- 2 T ketchup
- 1 pkg dried onion soup mix
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 large can pineapple chunks
- 2-3 T molasses
- 1 jar red marischino cherries, drained
- 1 jar green marischino cherries, drained
- juice of 1 lemon

Banana Bran Muffins

Pour water over bran. Let stand 1 hours
- 1 C boiling water
- 1 C natural bran
- 1/2 C mashed banana
- 1/3 C brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 rind of lemon, grated
- 1 C flour
- 1/3 C skim milk powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
