Citrus Glazed Chicken

In a shallow bowl, combine the first four ingredients
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Angel Biscuits

Add yeast to warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes to dissolve
- 1 T yeast
- 1/4 C warm water
- 5 C flour
- 3 T sugar
- 1 T baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 C butter, cold
- 2 C buttermilk
Mediterranean Burgers

Quick Pickles; In saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper; bring to boil, stirring
- 1 egg
- 1/4 C dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 C finely chopped onion
- 2 T chopped fresh mint
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
- 2 T lemon juice
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp each salt and ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 whole wheat sesame burger buns.
- Quick Cucumber Pickles
- 1/3 C white vinegar
- 1 T granulated sutar
- Pinch each salt and pepper
- half english cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp chopped fresh mint
Herb Biscuits

Mix 1st 7 ingredients. Stir
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon chopped chives
- 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2/3 cup milk
Cracker Barrel Chicken Tenders

Mix dressing, lime juice and honey together
- 1 pound chicken breast tenders
- 1/2 cup italian dressing, strain out spices
- 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
Steamed Asparagus with Orange Butter

Trim and peel asparagus. Peel the stems if asparagus are thick
- 1 lb asparagus
- 1 orange
- 1 T Grand Marnier
- 1 T white wine vinegar
- 1/4 lb cold unsalted butter

- 13 cups shreddies

Maple Tea Scones

Preheat oven to 375. Whisk flour, 2 T brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in large bowl to blend
- 3 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled, cut into 1/2" cubes
- 1/2 cup plus 6 T whipping cream
- 1/2 cup plus 2 T maple syrup
- 2/3 cup icing sugar
Maple Bars

- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
- 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- finely chopped walnuts, optional
Spanish Beef Kabobs

Combine steak with garlic, parsley, lemon juice and pepper in non-metallic bowl
- 12 wooden skewer, soaked
- 2 pounds rump steak, cut in 1 1/2" pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- PAPRIKA DRESSING: whisk together
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- large pinch cayenne
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
