  • 1 14 oz can pineapple tidbits
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup apricot jam
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Freezer Friendly Meatballs



Step 1

Drain pineapple juice into saucepan, set pineapple aside. To pan, add garlic, vinegar, apricot jam, sugar, teriyaki sauce and hot pepper sauce,; bring to boil,, stirring. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved.

In small bowl, stir cornstarch with 2 T cold water, whisk into pan until blended. Add meatballs, and pineapple; simmer, stirring often for about 5 minutes, until heated through.
