Curried Chicken Wraps - Ina Garten

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- •3 split (1 1/2 whole) chicken breasts, bone in, skin on
- •Olive oil
- •Kosher salt
- •Freshly ground black pepper
- •1 1/2 cups good mayonnaise
- •1/3 cup dry white wine
- •1/4 cup chutney (recommended: Major Gray's)
- •3 tablespoons curry powder
- •1 cup medium-diced celery (2 large stalks)
- •1/4 cup chopped scallions, white and green parts (2 scallions)
- •1/4 cup raisins
- •1 cup whole roasted, salted cashews, chopped
- •6 tortillas
Black Bean Hummus

- 1 15oz can black beans
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
- 3 Tbls fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbls olive oil
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin

- 5 eggs

Curried Chickpea and Vegetable Stew

Delicious stew with a ton of flavor
- 1 1/2 cups dried chickpeas, sorted and soaked in 5 cups cold water for 8 hours
- 2 cups diced onions
- 2 1/2 Tbls curry powder
- 3 Tbls olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 2 cups scrubbed, diced potatoes
- water or vegetable stock
- 1 1/2 cups diced zucchini
- 2 cups cauliflower cut into florets
- 1 bunch spinach, washed, dried, and coarsely chopped

White Cake - Homemade

*Sift dry ingredients together into mixer bowl
- 5 c cake flour
- 3 1/3 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp + 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 c milk
- 1 1/3 c shortening
- 16 oz sour cream
- 1 Tbsp vanilla or almond extract
- 10 egg whites (or 10oz carton egg whites)
"Old Reliable" French Bread (for Kitchen Aid Mixers)

This recipe came with my Kitchen Aid mixer, and makes two absolutely beautiful loaves of French Bread
- 2 packages active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 cups water (105F to 115 F)
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon melted margarine or 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 7 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon cold water

- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 cups (18 ounces) creamy peanut butter (recommended: Skippy)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups (18 ounces) raspberry jam or other jam
- 2/3 cups salted peanuts, coarsely chopped

- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 Tbls cinnamon

- 1 1/2 cups butter softened
- 2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup Irish cream liqueur

- 1 stick butter softened
- 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese softened
- 2 tbls key lime juice
- 1 tsp lime or lemon zest
- 4-5 cups confectioners sugar
