Basic pie filling without tapioca
- 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 Tbls cornstarch or 6 Tbls flour
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbls lemon juice

This dessert is so good and very easy
- 1 package (16 oz.) DOLE® Fresh Frozen Dark Sweet Cherries thawed (4 cups)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup milk

In a large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, milk, undissolved yeast, and salt
- 4 to 4 -1 / 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 / 3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 2 envelopes FLEISCHMANN’S RapidRise Yeast
- 1-1 / 2 teaspoons salt
- 1-1 / 4 cups water
- 1 / 2 cup plain yogurt
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 beaten egg white
- 1 tablespoon cornmeal
Black Beans & Coconut Rice {Recipe}

Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 c. sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 cup rice
- 3 1/2-4 cups vegetable broth, divided
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 Tbsp. butter, divided (or olive oil, for vegan version)
- 1/2 large onion, chopped
- 2 15 oz cans black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (skip if desired)
- 1 lime
- 3 green onions, sliced
- approximately 3/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro (I usually use 1 whole bunch)

- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature

- 3 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbls vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 24oz bag semisweet chocolate chips (4 cups)
- *I add a 1/2 tsp of butter flavor
- *If you wish to add nuts, stir in 1-2 cups of coarsely chopped nuts with the chips.
