Merlot Beef Stew

"Tastefully Simple Recipe"
- 2 lbs. boneless cubed top round steak (I used beef for stew or cube steak)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 stick butter
- 4 peeled, sliced carrots
- 8 cut up red potatoes-skins left on
- 12 sliced mushrooms
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. Garlic Garlic-Tastefully Simple
- 1 Tbsp. Bacon Bacon-Tastefully Simple
- 1/2 cup Merlot Sauce-Tastefully Simple
- 4 cups beef broth
Tortellini Salad with Shrimp or Chicken

Cook tortellini as directed on package
- In a small bowl whisk together:
- 1 pkg. (9 oz.)fresh cheese tortellini (tri colored is the prettiest)
- 2 small zucchini, sliced
- 2 small tomatoes, or cherry, sliced in 1/2
- 1 can - 7 oz. artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 can - 3.5 oz. sliced black olives, drained
- 1 lb. shrimp, cooked, peeled and devained
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- Italian Herb Dressing (recipe follows)
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian Herb Dressing
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4 t. dried tarragon leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
Chicken Enchiladas

- 1 can cream of chicken soup , 2 cups cheddar cheese

Chocolate Peanut Patties

Milk chips in microwave. Mix well; add peanuts
- 1 Bag of Reese Chips
- 1 Bag of Milk Choc. Chips
- 1 can peanuts
Bread and Butter Pickles

- Combine & then bring to boil:
- 4 quarts thin sliced cucumbers
- 6 medium onion, sliced
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 3 whole cloves garlic, cut fine
- 1/3 cup kosher salt
- Put ingredients in large container and cover with ice. Let stand 3 hours; drain well.
- 5 cups sugar
- 3 cups cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 t. tuneric
- 1 1/2 t. celery seed
- 2 T. mustard seed
- Add cucumber mix and boil 1 min. Seal in sterile jars.
Shrimp Au Gratin Casserole (Pat Hoff)a

Make white sauce our of 1st 5 ingredients
- 2 T. butter
- 2 T. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 t. salt and 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 lb. shrimp, cooked, peeled, and devained
- 1 c. grated cheddar cheese

Combine 1st 3 ingredients in a large sauce pan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth
- 1 - 11 1/2 oz. bag choc. chips
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 - 13 oz. box honey graham cereal
- 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
Spinach Salad Dressing (Mom)

- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup oil
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 t. celery seed
- 3 t. mustard
- small onion, chopped
Four Day Coconut Cake

Mix ingredients and bake in 3 or 4 round pans; greased and floured
- Add to cake mix:
- 2 cup sour cream
- 2 cup sugar
- 16 oz. frozen coconut
- 1 - 2 T. coconut milk
- Mix these ingredients and store in refriderator overnight.

- White or Yellow
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 T. crisco
- 1 T. coconut milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup self rising flour
Tortellini Broccoli Salad

Cook tortellini according to package directions
- 1 (12 oz.) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 5 slices thick sliced bacon
- 2 crowns fresh broccoli, cut into bite size pieces (4 cups)
- 1/3 c. red onion, diced
- 1/2 c. dried cranberries
- 1/3 c. light mayo
- 1/3 c. light sour cream
- 1 T. balsamic vinegar
- 1 T. white sugar
- 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
