  • 2 lbs. boneless cubed top round steak (I used beef for stew or cube steak)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 peeled, sliced carrots
  • 8 cut up red potatoes-skins left on
  • 12 sliced mushrooms
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Garlic Garlic-Tastefully Simple
  • 1 Tbsp. Bacon Bacon-Tastefully Simple
  • 1/2 cup Merlot Sauce-Tastefully Simple
  • 4 cups beef broth

Cook tortellini as directed on package

  • In a small bowl whisk together:
  • 1 pkg. (9 oz.)fresh cheese tortellini (tri colored is the prettiest)
  • 2 small zucchini, sliced
  • 2 small tomatoes, or cherry, sliced in 1/2
  • 1 can - 7 oz. artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 can - 3.5 oz. sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 lb. shrimp, cooked, peeled and devained
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
  • Italian Herb Dressing (recipe follows)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Italian Herb Dressing
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1/4 t. dried tarragon leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Combine & then bring to boil:
  • 4 quarts thin sliced cucumbers
  • 6 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 green peppers, sliced
  • 3 whole cloves garlic, cut fine
  • 1/3 cup kosher salt
  • Put ingredients in large container and cover with ice. Let stand 3 hours; drain well.
  • 5 cups sugar
  • 3 cups cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 t. tuneric
  • 1 1/2 t. celery seed
  • 2 T. mustard seed
  • Add cucumber mix and boil 1 min. Seal in sterile jars.
