Spinach Artichoke Dip (hot)

Ingredients

  • 8 oz package cream cheese
  • 1/4 c mayo
  • 1/4 c grated parm (I freshly grate)
  • 1/4 c romano (freshly grate)
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and minced (i use a couple cloves)
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil (opt) (i do not use)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste (approx 1/8 tsp pepper and 1/4 tsp salt)
  • 14 oz can of artichoke hearts drained and chopped (med hearts)
  • 10 oz box frozen spinach thawed and drained
  • 1/4 c shredded mozz cheese (freshly grated stella mozz is good!)

Preparation

Step 1

1) preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease small baking dish - pie pan works well)
2) in medium bowl, mix together crm cheese, mayo, parm, romano, garlic, basil, garlic salt, salt & pepper. Gently stir in hearts & spinach.
3) transfer the mixture to baking dish and top with mozz cheese.
4) Bake 25 min or until bubbly and lightly browned.

Serve with warm bread, pita or chips
