Buttery Blueberry Cobbler

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar – divided
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. blueberries
  • 1 T. lemon juice



Step 1

Melt butter in bottom of 1 ½ qt casserole dish. Mix together flour, 1 c. sugar, & baking powder. Stir in milk. Pour batter over melted butter. DO NOT STIR. Mix blueberries with remaining ¼ c. sugar and lemon juice in a saucepan. Heat to a boil – stirring. Pour over batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake 30 minutes or until top is brown. This looks terrible in pan but will turn upside down while baking.
