Ingredients
- COOKIES:
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
- 1 egg
- 1 (8 3/4-ounce) can pineapple, undrained
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds, optional
- FROSTING:
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 23 tablespoons milk

Step 1
COOKIES:
Preheat oven to 350° F. Mix sugar, butter, sour cream, egg and pineapple in large bowl.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by teaspoons about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched in center. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely and frost.
FROSTING:
Mix all ingredients until smooth and of spreading consistency.
