Ham, Pineapple Cheddar Quiche

Ingredients

  • Crust
  • 3 T. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups Bisquick
  • 2 T. boiling water
  • Filling
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped cooked ham (4 oz.)
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, well drained
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup half & half
  • 1/4 t. white pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9”pie plate with cooking spray. Cut butter into Bisquick, using pastry blender, until crumbly. Add boiling water; stir vigorously until soft dough forms. Press dough on bottom and up side of pie plate, using fingers dipped in Bisquick mix, forming edge on rim of pie plate.

Sprinkle cheese, ham, onions and pineapple in crust. Beat eggs, half and half and pepper until blended. Pour into crust.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
