Penne with bacon and mushrooms

Ingredients
- 30 ml. olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 125 g. streaky bacon, chopped
- 500 g. fresh button mushrooms, wiped clean and sliced
- 350 g. penne pasta
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 30 ml. chopped fresh parsley

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan and fry the garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
2. Add the bacon and fry until done. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry over low heat until done.
3. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in enough rapidly boiling, salted water until just done, and drain.
4. Add the pasta to the mushrooms, mix and heat until warm. Season to taste, add the parsley and serve immediately.
