Ingredients
- 1 1# container fresh strawberries
- 2 3/4 c sugar
- 1 (1 3/4 oz) pkg. powdered low sugar fruit pectin

Step 1
1.Prepare pint jars (wash jars, lids, screw bands; pour boiling water into and over jars and invert on clean kitchen towel; let dry
2.Place strawberries in large saucepan and coarsely mash. Stir in ¼ c sugar and pectin; bring to boil. Stir in remaining 2 ½ c sugar until blended. Return mixture to full boil. Boil, stirring constantly 1 min. Remove saucepan from heat; skim off foam
3.Immediately divide jam among jars to within ½ inch from tops. Wipe rims clean with paper towels; cover tightly with lids. Let stand at room temp. until set, about 24 hours. Chill jam up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.
