Ingredients
- 1 ) 1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef
- 2 ) 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 ) 1 (15 oz.) can great northern beans (undrained)
- 4 ) 1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans (undrained)
- 5 ) 1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
- 6 ) 1 (15 oz.) can black beans (undrained)
- 7 ) 1 (1.25 oz.) packet taco seasoning
- 8 ) 1 (2 oz.) packet Ranch dressing mix
- 9 ) 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 10 ) tortilla chips (optional)
- 11 ) grated cheddar (optional

Preparation
Step 1
Cook ground beef in large nonstick soup pan for 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly. Drain off fat. Add chopped onion and cook 1 more minute. Add remaining ingredients except tortilla chips and grated cheddar. Bring to simmer. Cover, lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve sprinkled with crushed tortilla chips and grated cheddar. Experiment with different ingredients, add jalapenos or a can of chopped green chilies or a can of corn.
