Orange Coconut Crescent Ring

Ingredients

  • FROSTING:
  • Greased bundt pan or mold
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 2-3 T. grated orange (I used more)
  • 2 8-oz. cans crescent rolls
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted (I used more)
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 1 2 T. orange juice (or more)

Preparation

Step 1

Oven 350 degrees

Combine sugar, coconut and orange peel.

Remove dough from cans in whole roll.

Cut each in 8 equal slices. Dip both sides in butter, then in coconut mixture. Stand on edge, alternating one lower, then the next higher, etc. Sprinkle with any remaining sugar mix, and drizzle with any remaining butter.

Bake for 25 35 min. or until deep golden brown.

Cool slightly, then turn onto serving plate.

Spoon on frosting
