- 1 cup whole leaf basil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 6 cups Bibb lettuce
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 2 chopped scallions
- 2 sliced heirloom tomatoes
- pine nuts

Step 1
