Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Got this from Dana so she gets the credit for making this a family favorite!

Ingredients

• 2 cups stick pretzels, coarsely crushed
• 3 tblsp sugar
• 3/4 stick of butter, melted
• 8 oz cream cheese
• 1 cup sugar
• 8 oz cool whip
• 6 oz pkg strawberry jello
• 1 cup boiling water
• container of frozen sliced strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Mix together pretzels, melted butter and the 3 tblsp sugar; press into 9x13 pan and bake at 400 for 8 minutes; cool. Beat softened cream cheese and the 1 cup of sugar til blended. Stir in cool whip and spread on cooled crust. Dissolve jello in boiling water; stir in berries. Let stand a few minutes before pouring on top of cheese mixture. Chill til served.
