Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Lightly spray Rectangular Baker with oil using Kitchen Spritzer. Using Apple Peeler/Corer/Slicer, peel, core and slice apples. Cut into small pieces using apple slicer. In Large Micro-Cooker, combine apples, raisins, water and pudding mix; mix well using Classic Scraper. Microwave on HIGH 4 minutes or until hot; mix well. Spread apple filling evenly over bottom of baker.

In Classic Batter Bowl, prepare cake mix according to package directions; whisk in molasses and spice blend using Stainless Steel Whisk. Pour batter over apple filling, spreading evenly using Large Spreader. Chop Walnuts using Food Chopper; sprinkle evenly over batter.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until Cake Tester inserted in center comes out clean. Remove to Cooling Rack. Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle top of cake with powdered sugar using Flour/Sugar Shaker. Slice with Serrated Bread Knife. Serve using Mini-Serving Spatula. Garnish with whipped topping using Easy Accent Decorator or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream using Ice Cream Dipper, if desired.
