Creamy Beef and Tomato Bake
- 3 potatos- thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 zucchini sliced (can sub chopped broccoli)
- 1 onion- chopped
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
In a large frying pan, heat oil to medium high and add potatos and cook for 5 minutes. Add zucchini and cook til tender. Spoon vegetable mixture into a greased 13x9 baking dish, salt and pepper to taste.
In frying pan, cook onions and seasoning for 3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until meat is no longer pink. Stir in spaghetti sauce and 1/2 cup milk. Spoon meat mixture over vegetables.
Mix flour and remaining milk until smooth. Add to frying pan and simmer til thick, pour over meat layer.
Sprinkle grated cheddar over cassarole. Cover with foil wrap.
Bake 25 minutes at 375.
Let stand 10 miuntes before serving
