Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked regular oats
  • 1 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried apples
  • Yogurt (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large
bowl; stirring well.
2. Cook honey and next 3 ingredients in a
large saucepan over low heat, stirring until
sugar dissolves. Stir in oat mixture.
3. Spread mixture in a lightly greased, alu-
minum foil-lined 15- x 10-inch jelly-roll pan.
4. Bake at 3500 for 25 minutes or until
golden, stirring every 5 minutes. Invert onto
wax paper; let cool 30 minutes. Stir in dried
fruits. Serve with yogurt, if desired.
