Mom's Cornbread
This is a traditional cornbread without sugar. As my mother says, 'If I want cake, I'll make a cake' :-)

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
Pour into cast iron skillet or 9-inch round pan.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
