Stir-Fried Garlicky Green Beans

  • 2 T ghee, olive oil, or avocado oil
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 lb haricots vert (thin green beans, trimmed
  • 1-2 T minced garlic
  • 1/2 t onion powder
  • 1/2 t sea salt
  • Lemon zest, optional

Step 1

Begin by giving all of the ingredients except the lemon zest a 5-minute sauté before pressure cooking. This will help the garlic release the aromatics and add more intense flavor. Once you've sautéed your green beans, secure the lid on the instant pot, close the steam vent and press the Steam button. Now press the "-" button until the display reads 5 minutes. Allow the beans to cook, then quick-release the pressure valve.once safe, remove the lid and serve right away. Garnish with lemon zest if desired.
