Ingredients
- 1 pint of oysters
- 3 T half and half
- 1-1/2 c cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c butter, melted
- salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
Remove any pieces of shell from the oysters and drain well. Add the cracker crumbs to the melted butter and mix well. Cover the bottom of a baking dish with a thin layer of crumbs. Add a layer of oysters, season with salt and pepper and add one half of the cream. Repeat and cover the top with the remaining crumbs. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Never use more than two layers of oysters. This can be doubled or tripled for a large crowd.
