Glazed Apples and Canadian Bacon

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 tlbsp lemon juice
- 2 large red and/or green cooking apples, cored, each cut into 16 wedges
- 1 lb sliced Canadian bacon

Step 1
In large skillet, combine brown sugar, pepper and lemon juice; mix well. Cook and stir over medium heat until brown sugar is melted. Add apples; cook 5-6 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. With slotted spoon, place apples on serving platter.
Add Canadian bacon to same skillet; cook 1-2 minutes or until hot, turning once. Arrange on platter with apples. Spoon any remaining liquid in skillet over apples and Canadian bacon.
