Ingredients

  • 5 large potatoes, peeled, quartered, cooked and hot
  • 1/2 cup milk, heated
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • Variations.
  • Garlic Mashed potatoes-add 1 tsp. minced garlic or 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Parmesan Mashed potatoes-increase milk to 3/4 cup. Add 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Use the hot pot from potatoes or warm a mixing bowl, place cooked potatoes in pot and mash well with potatoe masher or use hand mixer. Add all remaining ingredients, until milk is absorbed. Beat with whisk until fluffy.
