No-Bake Cornflake Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup corn syrup
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup peanut butter, chunky is best
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 3 cups Corn Flake Cereal

Preparation

Step 1

Mix corn syrup and sugar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring frequently, and let it boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla. Then add the Corn Flakes and stir. Using spoons, spoon out onto wax paper (work quickly, because the mix begins to set up) and let cool until firm. You can drizzle a small stream of melted chocolate in a pattern of your choosing, if you like.
