Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 1 Pkg. Yellow Cake Mix with Pudding
  • 1 Cup Fresh Orange Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar, sifted
  • 3 Tbs. Fresh Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp. Fresh Grated Orange Rind

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and flour a 12 cup Bundt pan. Place cake mix, orange juice, oil, sugar, vanilla and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer for 1 minute on low then scrape down the sides. Increase the mixer speed to medium and mix for 2 minutes longer. Pour the batter into a prepared pan and bake for 45-47 minutes or until the sides pull away from the sides. Allow to cool in pan for 20 minutes then invert on wire racks to cool completely (about 30 minutes more). Meanwhile prepare the glaze. Combine powdered sugar, fresh orange juice, and orange zest in a medium bowl and well blended. Place cake on a serving platter and pour glaze over top, letting it drizzle down the sides and into the center. Let the glaze set for a few minutes before slicing. You could also frost this cake with an Orange Cream Cheese Frosting if you wish.
