Blueberry muffins

  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 1/4 c sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 2 1/4 c sifted flour
  • 2 tsp b. p.
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 c blueberries
  • 2 tsp sugar for top


Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 40mins


Step 1

preheat oven to 375F. Grease muffin pans well, including tops. Sift flour with bp and salt and set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, add flour mixture alternately with milk, until combined. Add 1/2 c blueberries. Add rest of berries. Pour batter into well greased muffin pan. Bake at 375 for 20 to 30 minutes. (12 muffins)
