White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

These soft, chewy little cookies are sweet and vibrant and perfect for the winter holidays.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, & cream of tartar. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, & brown sugar on medium speed until light, & add flour about 3 minutes. Add almond extract & egg, beating until smooth. Reduce speed to low mixture, a little at a time. Stir in white chocolate chips & cranberries.
Using a 2-inch cookie scoop, place cookie dough on a greased baking sheet or line baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Bake until cookies are set around the edges, but slightly soft in the middle, about 9-10 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack.
