Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Slice the apples (cored out and edges cut off) horizontally into thin pieces.
Mix water and juice from ½ a lemon in large bowl then add apple slices to the mixture, making sure they are submerged.

Microwave the bowl for 3 minutes to soften up the apple pieces.

While apple slices are cooking, grab a sheet of puff pastry. Flour your board and roll the pastry out enough to make 6 strips at 3 inches wide.

In a bowl mix fruit preserves (your favorite kind) with a couple tablespoons of water. Then spread the mixture out in the center of the puff pastry strips.

Take your softened apple slices and place them long ways halfway on the strip of pastry. Keep adding them until you reach the end, then fold the puff pastry over the bottom of the apple slices like a blanket. Roll up the pastry and place in a greased muffin tin.

Bake them for 35-45 minutes.

Take out of oven and let cool for about 5 minutes. Add some powdered sugar to top them off and voila! Your masterpiece is complete.
