Ingredients

  • 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 each egg yolk
  • 2 cups lime juice
  • whipped topping/lime slices/fresh mint

Preparation

Step 1

IN a large bowl, combine crumbs, brown sugar and butter. Press onto the bottom and up the sides of 2 greased 9 inch pie plates.

IN a mixing bowl, beat milk, egg yolks and lime juice on low for 2 minutes or until smooth and slightly thickened. Pour into crusts.

BAKE at 350 for 18-22 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool on wire racks for one hour. Chill for 6 hours. Garnish as desired.
