Ingredients

  • 1 ⁄2 cup butter (can substitute applesauce)
  • 1 ⁄2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 3⁄4 cups sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ⁄2 cup buttermilk or 1⁄2 cup sour milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ⁄4 cup cocoa
  • 2 1⁄2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups zucchini, grated
  • 3 ⁄4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 ⁄2 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter then add oil and sugar; mix.
Add next 8 ingredients; mix well.
Fold in the chips and nuts by hand.
Put in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until done.
