Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • 10 baby red potatoes
  • 1 onion, peeled and cut in bite sized pieces
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 4# corned beef brisket with packet
  • 6 oz beer
  • 1/2 head of cabbage

Preparation

Step 1

Place vegetables in bottom of slow cooker
Pour in the water
Place brisket on top of vegetables
Pour been over brisket
Sprinkle with spices from packet
Cover and cook low 8 hours
1 hour before servings, stir in cabbage and cook remaining hour
