    yellow cake mix

  • 15-16

    oz can solid pumpkin

  • 1

    can evaporated milk

  • 3

    eggs

  • 1 1/2

    cups sugar

  • 4

    tsp pumpkin pie spice*

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 1

    cup chopped (walnuts or pecans)**

  • 1/2

    cup melted butter

Directions

1 Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13 x 9 pan. 2 Combine pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, spices and salt. Mix well (I use a mixer) and pour into pan. Pour yellow cake mix evenly over mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Pour melted butter on top of nuts, and bake for one hour, or until golden brown. Make sure it cooks in the middle! Cooking Tips *--I never have pumpkin pie spice; I use 3 tsps cinnamon and 1 tsp ginger **--use the nuts you like. The night I made it for small group I mixed walnuts and pecans; I'm not a big pecan fan, so sometimes I just do walnuts....
