Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 – 1 ¼ cups blueberries

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 F
Cream butter with margarine and sugar until light and creamy.
Add egg and beat until light.
Stir dry ingredients together and add all at once to creamed mixture along with milk.
Mix just enough to blend, then fold in blueberries.
Pour into well-buttered muffin tins and top each muffin with a few blueberries.

Bake 25 – 30 minutes.
