Chicken-crock pot garlic and brown sugar

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 Cup of Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup of Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup of Sprite
  • 2-3 Tablespoon of Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon of Pepper
  • red pepper flakes
  • 2 T. corn starch
  • 2 T. water

Preparation

Step 1

Place chicken in crock pot. Mix together ingredients (minus corn starch and water). Pour over chicken.

Cook on low 4-6 hours. Remove chicken. Pour sauce in saucepan and place over high heat. Mix cornstarch and water, then add to sauce; mix well. Let sauce come to a boil and boil for 2-3 minutes, or until it starts to thicken and turns into a glaze.

Remove from heat and let sit for a couple minutes.

Serve chicken over rice or noodles an top with glaze.
